You think you know, but you really don't.

Way late...

But here's me on Halloween for those of you that missed it.

And no, I really couldn't think of something more original.
In a sense it could've been thought of as original, everyone generally assumes I'm going to be something perverted, ridiculous or offensive. So, SURPRISE.

Why so serious?

Don't you just hate that line now?

There was another guy that dressed up as Joker also, but he went as Nurse Joker, which was incredibly unecessary.
Maybe even a little disturbing.
It was still a fun night.

Studying?

Soon enough I'll be done with the MCAT forever...hopefully. Right? So I've been studying for this damn test for the last 4months and the end is finally in sight. By studying I mean I've been sporadically reading my review books, while even less frequently taking practice AAMC tests. Although I tend to do pretty well (in the 35+ range), I'm still worrying about the actual test. I guess it's to be expected.
Anyway, the reason I've been studying so little for the test is because I've convinced myself that it is more of a reasoning test than it is a knowledge based test. Also it keeps me sane enough to not be feeling guilty every minute I'm not studying. Some may argue that my practice scores are good enough, but I continually feel like I need to score ridiculously high to make up for my pre-pre med history.
Oh well, we'll see. Now I'm off to class again.

The Early College Years.

I'm just beginning my junior year as a pre-medical biology student. My goal is to become a Plastic Surgeon soon after. From the books and testimonials I've read, there are many tricks of the trade, do's and don'ts, and general info you don't get anywhere except from the source. I don't know everything yet, but I plan to live it. And maybe one day I'll be one of those sources. This is my journey to Medical School.

While I'm still in the process of crossing my fingers and hoping for the best, it's never too early to prepare for the next step. Everything up until now has been about preparation and the classes are no different.
There was a time when I was buying books like mad from Amazon.com, finishing them withing a week or two, and moving on to the next. Some were better than others. But I tried to soak up all the information I could.
Anyway, I don't even have much time for this. But I'll try my best to keep everyone up to date on my Stanford livin'.
